The Tennyson Eco Club consists of intermediate students who share a passion for the Earth and it's environment and want to learn more about climate change and ways to bring about positive change

What we've done
The 2025/2026 Eco Club put on a BYOC (bring your own cup) hot chocolate fundraiser, and raised $350 for the Land Trust Alliance of BC.
The Eco Club went on a field trip to the Soap Dispensary/Refillery (thesoapdispensary.com) and got a tour from Lihn Truong, the Founder.
We added two hummingbird feeders to the school grounds.
We hosted a shoe drive on behalf of the non-profit Soles4Souls (soles4soulscanada.org) and donated 206 pairs of shoes.
The 2024/2025 Eco Club raised money (with a very successful bakesale) to donate several eco related books in the school library!
A new 'Question of the Week' initiative is gaining momentum to create eco-awareness within the school community.
This website is also a new addition so that the greater school community can have access to the ideas and resources identified by the Eco Club.
